Commerce and Shipping Secretaries reviewed challenges related to ports and shipping in the context of the ongoing challenges
A Virtual Conference (VC) was held on 9.4.2026 under the chairmanship of Secretary (Commerce) and Secretary (Shipping). The meeting was attended by major shipping lines, ports, Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), and exporters. The objective of the VC was to discuss issues related to ports and shipping in the context of the ongoing challenges, and to explore feasible solutions in consultation with all stakeholders
